Profile
The West Tennessee Hunting Retriever Club is a young club, having
only been founded in 1997. Though started by just five guys, this club's
membership has blossomed into a community of 25 hunters and, in most cases,
their families as well. The club's members range in age from teenager to
the (very young) sixty's
and are located from Tiptonville all the way down to
Atoka, Tennessee.
Meetings
Our club meets every third Thursday at the Olympic Steakhouse
in Ripley, Tennessee, usually around 6:30 p.m. However, there is often not a meeting in
December and January due to duck season. In addition to
these meetings, there are a few instances when an extra "called"
meeting is required. In such cases, members are usually notified well in
advance regarding time, place, and reason for the meeting.
Other Stuff
As we are a close-knit group or community, we sometimes gather
for some fun (other than while hunting). These gatherings usually include
good food, lots of conversation, and just good old-fashioned fun. If you
enjoy great cooking (or grilling) and down-home recreation, you will find us to
be great company. Please come and join us!
